Horrible Bosses
Gonna watch that tonight Billie-boy.
Recent views that went undocumented.....
Transformers Dark of the Moon...ehh, too much confusing mechanical $hit happening onscreen.
Not enough actual movie to satisfy me, sadly enough.
Bad Teacher.....might be the best Cam Diaz movie ever. Should eventually knock Something About Mary out of the top spot.
Meeks Cutoff....Excellent Drudgery on the Oregon Trail, but when it ends you say, wait, WHAT? Is there another disc?
Attack the Block....good enough pedigree, but it was a little formulaic, and I can only take so much thug cinema, even if
it is Thuggery with a British accent.
I need to check the stack to see what other films were evidently not so memorable. There were more.
I just watched Killer Elite.
Funny it seems like Staham's management is buying the rights to all these old action flicks and putting him into em.
MAYBE that's what's happening....Killer Elite, The Mechanic...what's next, Death WISH or Death HUNT?? ;)
It seems Killer Elite is not the same script or premise, so maybe I am just noticing something that isn't happening.

Season of the Witch... meh...
I am finally going to have to watch Fanboys, I have avoided it for so long, but if it IS FUNNY I guess
I have to watch it. I was very pleasantly surprised by the Big Fat Gypsy Gangster last night.
Maybe a little TOO 'funny' to fit the genre,or maybe it is making a little FUN of the genre, but I really
liked the style of this movie. Liberally sprinkled with catchy one liners you never see coming and are
SO FAST and in brit speak. And you need a good ear for british accents, maybe not as much as for
some of the movies like this but it helps all the same.
Wow, watched Fast 5 last night.....Never in all my movie watching days have I seen something so poorly acted.
That's not actually so, but never at this budget level. It's not that the acting was so bad, it's the EDITING that
only served to accentuate the bad acting. Wow, what a contest between Diesel and Johnson for worst performance.
It's a smolder contest. Two 2nd place finishes. And the script, yikes.

Watched Drive last night. I can't remember which movie this reminded me of, all odd background music and sparse dialog.

to contemplate life before he would speak or react to things. I liked it though.

I love the inventive traps, that part of the movies never gets old for me.
SPOILER
John's been dead for 4 movies now, how much farther in advance could he have planned things? I understand having the apprentices, and I really loved the twist at the end of the last one with the reintroduction of an old character, but it seems like squeezing blood out of a stone at this point. None of the other villain characters have had the presence or depth of character of Tobin Bell, he was perfect.

Fast Five
20 minutes in, what a cliche piece of crap.....oh yeah Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are all of the sudden Jason Bourne
Wow this is comically bad....I'm cracking up.
Maybe the funniest comedy I've seen in a while. :r
EDIT oh this gets better.
As a formerly certified welder I can't stop laughing.
You see them cut out a train wall with some form of torches ...okay fine. Could NEVER happen that quick but it's possible.
Then you see the torch being used as a weapon against Paul Walker....clearly a gas welding torch. Couldn't cut through metal worth a $hit. It SHOULD have been a cutting torch.
Now "The Rock" "Investigates" the scene and says "plasma cutter".
This is pathetic. What a piece of garbage. Do they even bother to get facts anymore for these movies?

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
I watched a pretty good Will Ferrell movie last night, EVERYTHING MUST GO......made you really hate the
power women have in marriages. On the surface anyway. It's more balanced with "men are stupid", actually.
But in the end, besides the main themes of the movie, which were strong and entertaining, it made
me glad I never got married. DOn't go in expecting to laugh, but Ferrell does make you laugh, even
out loud a few times. Mostly it's just a sad, long look at a life gone horribly wrong and the redemption
one finds at the bottom if you look around a little.

I forgot to post, I watched: Hannah a couple nights ago.
I friggen loved it. The girl was cute and totally believable. The film was more artsy then I expected, and the music was awesome.
Eric Bana's fight scene sucked, and the movie isn't for everyone. I wish it had more depth of story, but was very entertaining for what it was. I'm looking into seeing if it's based off a book, because it seems like there is much more story to be told.
