I watched an older movie from 1964, Becket, last night. If the Super Bowl stinks ie the Steelers get a big lead, I will watch either A Man for All Seasons or Lion in Winter. I love the quality of many of the older movies where the actors looked at acting as a calling rather than just a way to support their lifestyle and advance their political agendas.

Today I watched a decent movie called Get Low with Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek and the sling blade kid.
Not a great movie, but I do love me some Robt Duvall. It was a 'old coot in the depression era hills' kind of flick.
Got going really well, couldn't quite hold the line to the end, but good.

It was the same story done for the umpteen thousandth time, but it was fun.
I've never been a big Cameron Diaz fan, but I gotta tell you, now that she's got some age on her, she is absolutely gorgeous and just plain cute.
As for Tom Cruise, he is so absolutely mental anymore that he can't even shake off that crazy look when he needs to be in character. He needs to buy a counselor.

Last night...."It's Kind of a Funny Story" I give it a B-

Also recommended at the highest level for casual viewing.

''A'' rating - Tucker & Dale versus Evil...excellent twist on the hillbillies kill the college kids theme so popular in slasher films. Perfectly acted by the title characters.

"A" rating - 4 Lions - 4 british jihadists stumble their way towards martydom. Biting satire on a sensitive theme, laugh out loud funny at times.

Decent movie on its own, but trying to compare it to the original ruins it :(

I watched Legion last night, pretty basic "Heaven fights on earth" type movie but actualy not too bad.

I also watched half of Paul Blart, Mall Cop, wish I hadn't, now I want to see the rest, pretty funny.

I watched Machete and Law Abiding Citizen.

Machete was too slow, corny, and not very funny. I found it kind of boring.

Law Abiding Citizen I've seen a few times and man that is a great movie. One of Butler's best movies (actually 2nd best after 300).

How about RocknRolla? That's my favorite, followed by law abiding citizen. Wasn't too thrilled about the ending though.

Not sure what it is about the guy with the Fighting Irish tattoo in this film, but I hate him in
everything he does. Maybe because he is the villain in everything he does. So maybe he's a
great actor.

Watched this tonight. I agree so-so movie and was pretty pointless. Seems like part of the movie was missing and the ending was very subpar.

I will say many things "the rock's" character did made no f**king sense whatsoever. The levels of stupidity were ridiculous.

Ruger 2.5" barrel, Super Redhawk in .454 Casull.

Seems like a snub length barrel in that caliber would be nothing but a gunpowder waster, but a hell of a muzzle flash..

Boring, 2 hours and you knew how it was going to end from the first 10 minutes.

SPOILERS

I knew she didn't do it, I knew they would leave to another country far away and I knew they would get away with it. Makes for kind of a boring movie especially 2 hours long.

I'd give it a 6.5/10, being a bit generous.

Also I would like to add Elizabeth Banks without makeup, coincidentally, also a 6.5/10
