Just picked up a 4pack of Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA...can't wait to crack one open later.
My favorite beer. I picked up four bottles of the 120, plan on aging two and slowly enjoying a couple over the weekend.
Samuel Smith Nut Brown Ale takes a very close second.
And can't go wrong with Chimay Grand Reserve or any of the Chimays.

Split one of those at FFF's on Tuesday...much better then I've had previously.
Had some great beers as of late:
Bullfrog Frambozen (only 150 bottles released)
Lost Abby Angel's Share Bourbon '08 375ml
Three Floyd's Dreadnaught, Alpha King, Gumballhead, Apoc. Cow, etc.

BLVD Single Wide IPA
Wasn't really a fan of this one too much. I'm a big IPA fan, but this one felt unbalanced or something was off.
I had a Southern Tier Unearthly on tap yesterday, followed by a 60 minute. I'm an idiot for not having the 60 minute first as it tasted horrible after the Unearthly.

I plan on grabbing a few more 4packs before they are gone for ever. This is whats printed on the bottle.
"Our Imperial Saison captured a bold celebratory shout of apricot and peach in a bottle. Both bright and bold this is a lively truly living beer. Bottle conditioned with rare Belgian yeast and soured to illuminate its copper hued body. Ginger and Grains of Paradise promiscuously dance with Styrian Golding hops. Wipe winter from your brow and enjoy now or attempt to resist its siren song and lay down in your cellar."

I was at one of my favorite local "beer bars" (http://www.muddypig.com/home.aspx) last weekend and had a Kolsch style beer. I'd never had it before. Never even heard of it before, actually.
It was brewed by a local brewery (Summit) and it was definitely different. VERY dry - nearly like a dry champagne. I liked the flavor but had a hard time getting past the dryness.
The bartender did a good job of explaining the history of it, though.

edit: I'm too slow...
Just did a little research and apparently the new Summit kolsch I had is part of a one-off series of beers. Each brewer In the company gets to brew their chosen style and kolsch was one. It's called the "Unchained Series."
New Summit beer? Whats the name of it?
I love Summit beer.

Always been a fan of Belgian beers. Always been a fan of Stouts. Just had a Belgian stout named Troubador Obscura. One of the most unique stouts I have ever had and you could barely taste the 8+% abv.

Right there with you, the Dogfish Head IPAs are always in my fridge. The 60, 90, and occasional 120 split with my brother. It seems to me anyway, that even when they warm up a little, they get more complex..... I dunno, could just be me, but I love their IPAs.

Enjoyed the other day three beers by Furthermore.
From left to right.
Knot Stock: which is really different beer with a black pepper taste. Really good with jalapeno popper, also great with Mexican food.
Fatty Boombalatty: Great creamy, hoppy, and down right flavorful. So far my fav from the line.
Oscura: The smell of this beer is strong coffee. When you take a drink the coffee is still there but not in your face. Another fav!

Dogfish Head Burton Baton, an Imperial IPA. The DFH website says, "A blend of oak-aged English strong ale and our 90 Minute I.P.A. Citrus notes from Northwestern hops meld with vanilla notes from the oak."
I say, "I tried to brew a DFH90 clone last year, and made this instead." Seriously, I made a brew that I named Cigar Asylum Barleywinum and shared it with a couple brothers around here. It tastes exactly like this. A very good, nicely balanced, sweet & bitter ale. I missed my calling... :(

I wouldn't say it is the world's best (very hard to call any beer the best) but it was very enjoyable (A grade for sure) and I will be buying it again. My wife didn't like it but she likes light beers. Definitely pick it up when you have a chance.
I picked up a bomber at Total Wine and More in Glendale, AZ. I think it was in the $7 range. The same bottle was about $9 at Bevmo.
I have really been enjoying the offerings of Firestone Walker beers. The Pale 31 and DBA are sold in six packs. I haven't seen a sixer of the Union Jack
The Lagunitas was surprisingly good and a great value at $3 and change for a bomber.
The Lagunitas was surprisingly good and a great value at $3 and change for a bomber.
yes calling any beer the best is impossible!!
