Good morning all, the coffee is on as always and it's Friday! We had a good time at Schlesinger's last night, the usual suspects were there as well as a couple of old friends that we haven't seen in a while. Sports wise, this weekend is filled with NFL and college football, NHL, and all three NASCAR racing series final races for the season in Homestead, FL. Army football takes on Morgan State at home tomorrow with a 1200 (12 o'clock) kick off. If they win, they would be bowl eligible in a couple of the earlier bowl games. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. We had a good weekend overall even with the early snow storm yesterday morning. Congrats to Jimmie Johnson for winning his 7th NASCAR Championship and joining the elite group of Richard Petty and the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. Army won big time beating Morgan State 60 - 3, one more game and that is the Army vs. Navy game on the 10th of December down in Baltimore. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's that day after "all the food you can eat day". We had a great day with the house filled with family, tons of food and drink and all. Today, Beth and I will start to transform the house from Fall into the Christmas holiday season. We've got storage buckets to bring up to the attic and a bunch of them to take down. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! We all had a great time last night at Schlesinger's as they hosted their annual Christmas Party. The place was jammed packed, food was great as always, drinks were flowing and top shelf cigars were being smoked. The first 40 guests in the door picked numbers for raffle items (great gifts for sure) which went very quick as the lounge was at it's capacity. Good Sunday morning everyone, the coffee is on and it's winter wonderland outside. All in all, we got another 6" of white stuff yesterday. Once it was done snowing, I went out with the snow blower and cleaned up the driveway, walkway, path around the house, back patio and trail to the back shed. Knocked it out in record time and off to the cigar shop I went were they were showing ole' Charlie Chan movies all afternoon. We are planning on doing some barbecuing this afternoon while the football games are on and sip on a couple of cold ones as I replaced the keg in the kegerator with Newburgh Brewing NanoBoss Hoppy Session Ale.

Good morning all and yes, Beth and I had a great time in Nicaragua. The 3 days at the Camino Real hotel in Managua was very relaxing and the Perdomo cigar tour and Esteli was outstanding. Both locations we stayed at had great food, drinks and cigars and the weather was spot on. It's good to be home and now it's time to get back to work. Hello everyone, been here at the office since 0-dark-30. We had the honor of hosting the Vice President yesterday until late last night here at West Point along with his staff. Army veteran and Pittsburgh Steelers Alejandro Villanueva was also here and a handful of other dignitaries. After clearing the driveway and walks, it was a long day and I'm definitely ready for a drink or two. Congrats to the NY Rangers for winning last night, that makes 4 wins in a row. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's back to work Monday. Had a great weekend down in Delaware with Jeremy and Christen, they had a "Reveal the Baby" party and it's a Girl. Drive home yesterday that normally takes 3 hours turned into roughly 4 1/2 hours because of the snow and bad drivers. Made it home safe and sound and looking to enjoy a good week at work. Yesterday, Beth and I went to Goshen to see the St. Patrick's Day Parade and then watched the end of the NASCAR race from Las Vegas which finished in an actual fist fight in the pits. West Point has been code "red" since early Tuesday morning. We got 24"+ of the white stuff and it was much more snow that the DPW crews could handle. Saturday, Beth and I went to "Live at the Falcon" and supported Habitat for Humanity where they had a great Jazz / Blues band and then in the evening celebrated one of our nieces 40th birthday. Good morning all, the espresso coffee is on and it's Saturday morning. We had a good couple down in Pennsylvania, got to spend time with my son Jeremy and celebrate his birthday. Visited a couple of micro breweries, one in which our friends own in Bethlehem, PA (The Bonn Place). If your ever in the area, stop in and see Sam and the crew and they'll definitely take good care of you. As far as the Crown Heads cigar event at Famous, we had a great time. Saw a number of friends there from NJ, PA, DE, etc. It was good to see Jon Huber (owner of Crown Heads), we've been friends since the ole' CAO days.
Sports wise this weekend, the Yankees lost night 5 - 4, lets go guys and turn things around and put up a few "W"s now. The NASCAR drivers are in Charlotte, NC this evening running the All-Star race which is a non-point race. Winner gets 1 million which is not too shabby for a few hours of work. Good morning all, the coffee is on and it's Friday! Tomorrow is the big day at West Point, "Graduation". We have to be in work by 0430 and have the Emergency Operation Center up and running by 0500. It's going to be a long day but it's well worth it at the end. Sports wise, the Yankees got rained out yesterday and the game will be played some time in September. As long as the weather cooperates this evening, they'll be taking on the A's home in the Bronx with a game time of 1905 (7:05pm). Good morning all, the coffee has been on since 0420 as always and it's back to work Monday. Beth and I had a great weekend starting with Happy Hour on Friday down at the Newburgh water front having oysters and cold beers at Blu Point. Saturday was spent at Hudson Valley Cigars with the guys and then in the evening it was a huge family get together celebrating one of our nieces birthday. Yesterday, we headed to New Paltz, NY and walk through town and stopped at Huckleberry to enjoy a snack and probably one of the best Bloody Mary you can find in the Hudson Valley. Afterwards, we headed over to the Newburgh Brewing Company to support the Hudson Valley Honor Flight fundraiser they were hosting. Finally ended the evening enjoying a 2012 Tatuaje Cononu on the back patio paired with a Bitburger Pilsner. Sports wise, the Yankees split the 4 game series Indians and Martin Truex Jr. took the checkered flag in yesterday's NASCAR race. Enjoy the week everyone and remember to be safe out there....... :tu

We had a good weekend overall; Army beat Temple in overtime 31 - 28, Martin Truex Jr. won yesterday's NASCAR race, and the weather was outstanding throughout it. Thank you to the Yankees for giving us a great season, come on 2018. The Eagles take on the Red Skins this evening, lets make it 6 & 1 tonight fellas.
