Rewatched Two Guns. Not Departed II.
More like Butch and Sundance tried to Depart.
Good movie....but, I can't help but think that in the hands of a different screenwriter and director it could have been so much better. Still....it is both a good action flick and a decent comedy.

Did three R's recently: R.I.P.D., re-watched Red, then followed with Red 2. Not a truly great flick in the bunch, but all were as advertised and what I expected, and I enjoyed them for what they are.
Counting that final "are", I guess it totals fourteen R's. Make that eighteen. :D
I just double-checked, and all are rated PG-13, so there are no hidden R's
Make that twenty-three. No, twenty-four. Now, twenty-five. :r

Ten Little Indians (1965)
Sick this weekend and spent much of it on the couch.....
Streamed on Netflix:
Hit and Run - Not bad...not great. Love the cast. Dax Sheppard, Kristen Bell, Bradley Cooper...and the others carried this from what should have been awful to watchable.
The Score - Wanted it to be better; De Niro, Ed Norton, Brando...Not terrible, but could have been better. By the way, Brando pretty much sucked.
Serenity - Still great. Maybe someday I'll get tired of Firefly....but I doubt it
Atlas Shrugged II - better than first part, but I thought this was the end....how long will they drag this out? If it were a tenth as good as the book, I'd hesitate to berate it, but I'm ready to get to the end.

The Great Gatsby (2013)
It wasn't that great.
Just watched Gravity. Pretty good.
Now my wife wants to watch Blue Jasmine with her.
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Awesome....at least the parts that I could understand. May have to watch it again with subtitles...lol
Lazy snow day yesterday....
Odd Couple II - Love Mathau and Lemmon....but this was almost work to watch...barely entertaining
Red Eye - Good, but not great --- should have teased out the suspense on the plane longer...ala Phonebooth....the silly chasing around the house at the end was almost slapstick; but wasn't supposed to be
Captain Phillips - Very good...great even? --- Best Picture nominee worthy....no...but very good movie

I remember being forced to watch the races as a child being told this will be history that movies are made of when you are an adult, and my 12/13 year old but thinking sure dad, NOT! I hate it when he's right. But pretty ok movie based on a true story.

Shooter.
One of my favorite Marky Mark movies.
Movie fun fact: In a scene where Danny Glover says "in the end you're going to die by lethal injection.", by accident he said, "you're going to die by Lethal Weapon." and everyone lost it on the set. (wasn't that fact fun?)

Noah, Well written and directed. It does deviate from the common translation currently used by Christianity today. However, if we look back at translations from before the turn of the 20th century and earlier and the dead sea scrolls and many parts are almost eerie in their similarity.

I'm still trying to figure out how Indy rode that sub across the ocean, while it was submerged, guess God really was on his side.
Contrary to popular belief Indy was important to the plot, if it weren't for him being there the US government wouldn't have known where to get the Ark, so he was important to the last seconds of the movie :D
