The Ten Commandments

Such a great movie, while they stray from the biblical, they incorporate many other writings of Moses.

Love me some Ten Commandments...Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, Edward G. Robinson and so many other greats.

Almost watched Twelve Monkeys last night for Peter, but ended up watching Gangster Squad for the first time instead. Not great, but I enjoyed it, especially looking at Emma Stone. :xxx

I saw this movie right after I read the book, the book was GREAT, but the movie just didn't do it for me. I wish I saw the movie first I have a feeling I would have enjoyed it so much more. If you are a reader I highly suggest the book!

The Fault In Our Stars

My pick for movie of 2014....forget the Super Heroes and action movies. this one you have to see!
From the best seller 2012 of the same name by Josh Green (who is also quite the video blogger).
Shailene Woodley (Divergent and The Descendants) and Ansel Elgort (Divergent) and Laura Dern (lots)

Really done well! There are tons of female teenagers waiting for this to come out.
The trailer really doesn't do justice for this movie (very lovey )
Forget what you hear about the storyline just go see it.
For you older members: and I quote some movie industry people:
This will be this generations Love Story
I'm saying right now even the manly man Icehog will like it! :tu :tu

I still haven't seen the first Sharknado. I'll have to watch them both soon.

Enjoyable and worth watching, but you have to suspend disbelief and not think too closely about the plot. If you're familiar with Luc Besson films then you know the drill: just enjoy the ride.

Just watched the "Lego Movie" on the plane.
Despite all the good reviews it was just plain dumb. Cutesy feel-good kid's movie, nothing really valuable for an adult.

And to top it all off I've got that dumb "Everything is Awesome" song stuck in my head. I need to get some alcohol and kill those brain cells.

10/10 for me. I've never seen it up until last night. Must see movie.

"Stick with it" is the best tip for watching this film. It all makes sense at the end. PTA is pure talent.

Any good? I enjoyed the original.

It was pretty good, but there are some inconsistencies. This takes place after the first one, but Marv is still here. Manute had a "brass" eye in the first movie, but not when he first appears in this one.

I still enjoyed it -- I try not to overthink these things :)

This is no joke. I spent the first 123 minutes trying to decide if I wanted those minutes back or not, the last 2 minutes made me aware that time was running out and that yes this was a horrible film. The last 60 painful seconds had me considering throwing my t.v., a t.v. I love mind you, off of my balcony to a sudden death 140 feet below.

It was so bad, I must now tweet at Ed Harris and let him know how disappointed I am that he decided to make this film.

We watched "Blended" or "Blender" or something last night. It was an Adam Sandler movie, and as such, it was mostly worthless.
But there were a few good gags, and we got a couple laughs out of it, so it was worth the 5 bucks.

Cool! I need to look into it. That is, if the book Logan's Run that you're referring to is what spawned the movie. I really loved that movie....but, I admit that it hasn't aged very well....tried to watch it a few months ago and it was a chore.
