A certain well regarded etailer/b&m around these parts is selling them, albeit not at that price but not much more. I don't know what release they are but they do look tasty and are mighty temptin.

The tax in TX I believe is ridiculously low, like 1.5 cents a cigar. One of the retailers I went to said that they only charge sales tax. It's most likely since it's almost non existant as opposed to the tax here in MI which is about 30% of the cigar's wholesale price. Overall it's a decent savings at a few dollars on some of the more expensive cigars.

I picked up a little something today...The B&M has had three boxes of the cohiba black churchill's for 3 years! I always forgot to put them out, so now he's reduced the price and is trying to sell them. Can get the full box for about $230 if anyone is interested! Also, I've never seen this crystal tubo rare corojo, so I had to pick it up!

Being as I haven't bought a cigar in over a year, I kinda went overboard on my first purchase...

Started out buying a bundle of Famous Nicaraguan 3000's which I thought was a nice way to ease back into. Than I rediscovered my good old friend cigarbid.com and purchased a box of el mejor emeralds and a box of 5 vegas gold. Ironically, this is the first box I have ever purchased.

I forget how slippery the slope was! :ss

Fuente shipments usually come in the first week of December for holiday season shopping (all the stuff I picked up came from one B&M)

the next stick I buy will be one of the Olivia Vs (I can't pop that cherry and buy a box just yet bc I hear that slope is rather slippery and theres no turning back)....I've yet to have one and I hear too many good things about them. Those 601 La puntas look awesome, love that blend. They smoke excellent when fresh, and great too when they have some time on them, they get much rounder and smoother IMO.

It was a total blind buy. The Greens sound really good from the reviews I have read and I like figurados.

You will love them, super powerful and potent when fresh... cracked black pepper notes, leathery dark chocolate earthy delicous tobacco taste from that blend. Some of the pepper fades when they get older and some smoothness comes in. The blue BP maduro blend is also fantastic. I could smoke 601 blues and greens and nothing else and be pretty damn forever.
