Got lucky and found an almost full box of Boris'. 9 of 10 were there so I am happy. They also had two full boxes of Dracs but the less than stellar reviews made me decide to only buy two singles. If anyone in the Charlotte area is still looking for Dracs, Tinder Box South Park has them. Just ask for them because they are not out in the open but rather kept in the back room.

How much were they? The MSRP on them is $12 although cheapest I've seen them locally is $13.50. I think you should really try atleast one. They are worth that price in my opinion. They really are one of the better smokes out there. :2

GREAT every day smokes if you like a spicy full bodied stick... My local B&M had some of these for half price and I grabbed some :)

Sadly, the newer blends of this are not half as good as those from a few years ago... still have 2 torps from a few years ago which should be great.

Those are nice Med bodied smokes that have a nice cocoa flavor with a hint of nutmeg and coffee. Slight hints of some sweet cream as well.

Im a 99% CC smoker and i always keep a few of these on hand.

So i stopped at the local B&M planning to pick up some illusione mj12's but instead ended up walking out the door with these instead..

The owner wasn't in today so i took advantage of it and grabbed the last Boris (he gave me the box too :D). There was a limit of 2 per customer and i had used my 2 up a while back. They have an entire box of Opus X A's from 05 with the coffins but couldn't pull the trigger... 45bucks for 1 stick? Maybe one of these days when i have lots of extra cash laying around.

Found some 06 07 and 09 liberties hiding in a corner so picked up 1 06 and 1 07 and snagged the sampler and HSG's from taboo.

This is the response i most often get. One of my really good friends had a box and I used to browse through his humidor and say "what the heck are these maria mancini sticks?".... and i was skeptical until i tried one.

My Notes - Nicuraguan filler, very dark, smooth, and chocolatey with a good flavor and a robust medium body (website says med-full body).

I wrote a review on "that other site" a while back if you want to....


Regardless, love the smoke, cant wait to let them rest so i will be opening one up tonight.

BTW, note the sheen on the wrapper!


The crazy thing is that last year they came nude in chests of 20... this year they are in cello.... hmmm.

I wouldn't call it a special occation stick, but you can find them at really reasonable prices. Worth keeping on your radar and giving them a shot if you come across them.

Camacho Havana Diadema. They were discontinued sometime. Their the first I've seen. Thats why I got them.

A B&M in Milwaukee had a cab of 60 for over a year and sold none of them. I was gonna buy 2 @ $5.50 each and the guy sold me the whole cab for $140 out the door :) They were on the bottom shelf in a huge humidor, and the lid was closed! They were below the Edges and El Legendarios and since it's a similar box, no one knew to look inside to see what was there. Great smoke and even better for a little over $2 per.

Funny thing...I ordered the Robusto largas...but they called me and told me they were out of that vitola and that these churchill size was the same blend and they were $ 2.99 more a stick..and get this...they didn't charge me the difference because they were out of stock. COOL!!!! :tu :tu
