Never been a CAO fan but I am digging the La Traviata. And the price is awesome! Well the new Maduro version are a "must try" for sure. I like them so much I picked up 3 boxes. And they came with a free ashtray!

I'm not a huge CAO fan either, but the Traviata was definitely a good smoke. I didn't know a maduro line came out! I'll have to check it out. Sweet ashtrays too!

LOL! The Indian Reservation in Tonawanda, NY! Each box was $90 and came with the free ashtray which retails for $45. Best value cigar of the year right there and the flavor is right up there with the big boys.

Just got back from my local with an early B'day present. He just got his first batch of Opus, after years of trying to get an account from Fuente, and I picked up a pair of robusto and a pair of lancero. Also got the rest of a box of SG Hemi Sigs (18 left in the box; couldn't talk him out of the other, full box). I'm a fan of SG wrappers, and the Hemi SG is pretty good, a nice alternative to the cammy wrapper in these great sticks.

Yeah I didn't think so it cost me $45 for both of those cigars. I'll definitely smoke that one and if I like it I might pick up a few more to keep for years to come.

The owner of my local shop, put the hard sell on me to buy one of those. He tells me to "trust him" they are great. At $20 a piece I just don't want to risk it. I asked if he was getting the dirty rat or t-52 pigs in, and he said no. His reason was that he didn't like them. Why should I trust him then.

Everyone has different tastes, my humidor cannot fit too many cigars more so I asked if they had any limiteds and they showed me those two. I was never pressured into buying them I asked if they were good. The staff never tried the Camacho but said the My father was great. I'll post a review for the My father....I'm not too good at reviews but we'll see what I can do. My palate is very in tune with booze but not the greatest with cigars, It's a work in progress.

Though I agree I hate being pressured into buying things. None of the B&M's here do that, most just leave you be and say hey do you want my advice or recommendations. I would be VERY put off if someone tried to push a cigar on me.

I smoked The My Father LE for my birthday cigar and it is EXCELLENT. When compared with other sticks in the $20 range, the MFLE wins hands down in my book. Take my word for it, the My Father LE will not disappoint. If you don't trust your B&M owner, shop somewhere else.

Not the specific one you have there, but I have smoked a Hoyo De Monterrey Excalibur #2 and it was quite good. It was creamy for the most part, but still a a tasty smoke.

While not a huge fan of Macanudo sticks...I have torched a few of their maduros and enjoyed their mild sweetness (a change of pace from my normal "in your face" spicebomb). So I decided to snag a box (12 sticks) of these Maduro Vintage 1997. They have a very unique steel cigar band around each stick and the box is gorgeous. A+ for presentation...let's hope they smoke as nice as they look. :D

There's suppose to be blood on them but some boxes do not have blood on them. Pete told me yesterday that it pissed him off that some of them did not have blood on them.

Looks like they changed the shape of the Toast Across American box set this year. These usually come two sticks per box and usually run about $50. Pretty sweet vitola. I would be all over these if it weren;t for the fact that I fell out of love with the DCs.
