The El Baton he said has been rated highly and is smoking great, so I'm eager to try it. It's a Fuente blend from what he tells me.

Great pick ups, Kyle. Some of my fav's in that assortment. I've never tried that Special G Maduro - love the naturals. I have tried the larger vitolas, though. That Special G size is pretty awesome, though.

CAO has started to come out with a box press in a lot of their lines, so it might be a regular production for them.

One of the daily 5'r sites had a good sale on a RP sampler so i jumped on it as I have wanted to try all of those sticks. Also tempted me with a Oliva fab five sampler to boot so jumped on it as well, only issue with them was that hte Oliva G, the wrapper is falling apart, its like its seriously dried out and flaking off, so i left it in the sleeve. And figured while i was ordering, I have been wanting to try a drew estates java so got it as well to give it a whirl.

I am surprised however the company had all the sticks nicely packed and in a hig quality zip lock bag with a reuseable humidification pack included! Bonus /WOOT!

So between what LeoM bombed me with on the Newbie Sampler Trade, what I had before and these 11, my 40ct humi is slap full with 46 sticks :D

I have to comment on the Old Henrys and the My Fathers as well - I had my first Old Henry last Saturday and it was very nice. I had my first My Father Lancero a week ago and was surprised by the floral profile of the cigar. Both are very good sticks!!!

I hit a B & M the other day and found a La Aroma De Cuba Limited (DPG) lancero and a San Cristobal lancero, neither of which I knew existed before seeing them in-the-leaf. Apparently, they are new and, to date, only available in a 10-stick sampler which features 5 of each. This B & M split some up to sell as singles, so I get to try 'em out.

Made by the same guy that makes Nub, Sam Leccia (sp?)... Supposed to be a straight ligero bomb if I remember correctly.

Yep and they are actually relatively inexpensive! $5-$9 depending on size. I think the 550 is a great size.

I had a Liga Privada last night and to be honest I can't tell whether I liked it or not. There were times during the stick were I really liked and could see myself buying more and times were I was just not happy with it. Hahah that's funny. I think when you're getting followed around, having to pretty much smell their breathe on your shoulder, is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to going into a shop.
