These cigars are made on occasion for Cigar Aficionado owner Marvin Shanken, because of his penchant for Cameroon wrapped cigars.The Añejo Shark was actually made and named because of Marvin Shanken (Cigar Aficionado owner) and Carlito's brother in-law, Wayne Suarez.Carlito named it the "SS Shark" because they both loved this vitola and blend;one "S" stood for Shanken and the other "S" stood for Suarez."

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys, and yes Superbad, I got them all right here in town. Not at Bennigton's though, that place gouges prices like CRAZY and there are lots of good places around that don't overprice. Although, it is a neat store with very friendly staff.

I must admit, I smoke at least one a day and they are a "go to" cigar anytime. So, with all this drivel said, if you purchase something and it doesnt fit, dont return it, put it to sleep for awhile (like 2 years or more). I guarantee the things that take place with your palate and the cigar will amaze you. Enough!

It was bought via a BOTL (BillyBarue). He has sold me about 100 gurkhas in the past year (50 one time, 50 another). I finally wiped him out! You know what, he has always shipped them in reynolds wrap and I gotta say they always come perfect. It really does lock in the humidity!

Picked up a 10 ct box of the face and 4 Drac's today! Will post pictures when I get home.

I also picked up an Ashton Maduro, La Aroma EE Minuto, Ashton VSG Eclipse Tubo at the Ashton Dinner event at Harbor Cigars in Destin, FL. I highly recommend attending one of these dinners. I also got to keep the empty Drac box.
The best part of finding the Dracs, is I didn't have to suffer through letting them rest for a year. :)

Went to the Tatuaje event today, met Pete (really nice guy) and picked up a box of Havana VI Nobles, most of a box of the Havana VI Verocu #5 (they only had 40 left) and filled the rest of the box with 10 Petite Cazadore Reserva's, which they counted as a full box. So, with those two boxes I got two swag packs, with a hat, box opener, patch, and a 3-pack sampler of the Tatuaje Black Label.

#5s? The 4X40 size is a great size. You can smoke one in less than 30 minutes if you herf on it. Yet I have had a 4X40 cigar go an hour plus, OK, it was 4.25X40 (a DPG Perla), but the point remains the same.

Haven't had these yet, don't know if they're worth the box price. I have had a couple different Verocus, but wasn't blown away by them to make me think that I'd LOVE these. An maybe that's OK, I really did promise not to make anymore cigar purchases for a while.

The #9 was somewhere in the middle but the price point makes it attractive. Have not heard of the #5 but now knowing the size I am less interested. I only smoke smaller sticks like that in the winter and I don't know the price point but will figure that they are not cheap and I know I have a pretty good staple of smokes in that size that are more than affordable.
