Joya de Nicaragua No. 1 claro, this was the first Joya de Nicaragua I have ever smoked and it was a nice mild to medium cigar with a smooth creamy flavor and a hit of spice on the finish. Just finished smoking a Siglo I and a VR with 15yr Dalwhinnie Single Malt. The Siglo I is full bodied with hints of spices and leather while the Dalwhinnie has a hint of sweetness and is soooo smooth! I find the slight sweetness makes the peat a bit more palatable for me.

Both cigars were a first for me, and were courtesy of a recent trade with that sly Silverfox ;) :cb

I had a Fumadores #1 last night. They are great smokes for the price, imho. I believe they are exclusive to Holt's but have not bothered to verify. I think I got the box, on sale, for about $30. Regularly around $45.

Tonight I intend to have a Punch Rare Corojo and a glass of spiced rum.
