5 Vegas Series 'A' Anomaly. I'd had a Series 'A' that I got in a sampler from CI a while back and was not impressed, but I did smoke it pretty much OTT. I recently got another one of these sticks in the noob PIF, and I have to say that I now understand all of the buzz about these sticks. While it hasn't bumped any of my current favorites, it was a great little cigar, and I won't hesitate to pick up more in the future.

Two today. The first was a Diamond Crown Maximus Toro #4. The second I'm now smoking is a Diamond Crown Pyramid #7 maduro. I've smoked quite a few of both, and in my opinion, the Pyramid #7 maduro is a superior cigar.:)

Isn't it kinda funny how often that's true with heavily (overly) hyped products? I had the same experience the other week with my first Opus X, hardly worth the raving you constantly see about that cigar. The La Aurora Preferidos Ruby I smoked after the Opus X blew it out the water by a huge margin.

Nestor Reserve Connecticut Robusto - nice taste but it had a really tight draw to start. The cigar improved but the weather deteriorated - starting out nice and sunny but ending up with big black clouds, gusty winds, some lightning, and rain showers moving in.
