Can you expound on that a bit? My hematocrit runs high naturally (51.5 last week). I have to get it monitored regularly in case I need to have a blood draw to bring it down.

![]() My blood doc has run a few different tests to see what’s causing mine to run so high. I know cigar smoking does elevate it. but even on a 12 week break, it was still 50+. At least it’s not the worst type of polycythemia. That had me concerned until it was ruled out.
