Last night I smoked the new Roma Craft Neanderthal and it’s a short Cigar but FULL, tasty, and satisfying. Very nice.

Tonight is a blast from the past, a Viaje Honey & Hand Gernade and I find these are tasting very nicely with quite a bit of body. I didn’t care for these new but with some age they are much better.

These cigars are courtesy of dman4505 (Don) and Porchdweller (James). dman gifted the Olivia V Melanio which was my first cigar. Following that I knew a stout cigar was needed so I turned to the Kristoff Habano that Porchdweller (James) had sent all the way back in the August Lottery.

Thanks gentlemen!!!!! What a great evening and 55,000 BTU’s make for nice cigar smoking weather.

Smoking a JDN Cuatro Cinco Reserve Especial right now. Started off mild/medium and boring but just started getting interesting about an inch in.

Just finished the JDN and it was pretty good. That being said, i hope the other 4 are better. I feel like the blend was let down by the construction. Burn was uneven at times and wanted to go out about a 1/4 of the way into it. Flavor was good though and definitely more refined than the JDN Antano.

After the Neanderthal I lit up an Olive G that Dijit gave me from the January lottery and damn, this Cigar is really good. It has been about seven years since my last G and this cigar blew my mind with flavor that makes me wonder why it’s been so long since I smoked one? So many cigars and too little time.

Had a plastic jar tat black walking the pup yesterday afternoon, went through a couple of these last year and this one was just as good, only a hand full left so I'll probably wait another year or two before trying another but the strong pepper has definitely been mellowing out, a nice rough smoothness :D

Tonight is a truly wonderful cigar and my second to last but it’s one of those days. The Ortega Wild Bunch Dandy McCoy. I will be truly sad when I smoke my last one but I don’t try and collect cigars, I just buy more then I can smoke in a year in case an emergency pops up I have cigars.

For me it was a Viaje Exclusivo Grand robusto? or what appears to be such. It was in a sampler and I picked it over the bunch of toro's I have. It was a 54 ring gauge in appearance at approximately 5.5 inches. Anyway, it was very good.

Last few nights smoked some boats from the past. I think the Prensado was 3011 and was a bit milder on a cigar to me is on the mild sold already. It was ok.

The RP Decade was great and just picked it up to try it out. As good as I remember.

It was a pretty young turbo hah. I probably should have pulled the CAO off as it sat in the humi for I think 6 months and let it mature but I suspect keeping the cap on didn’t let it age like I desired. Or it was just overly tannic and young, hard to say as I smoked it to the nub! Maybe it didn’t fire up my palate like I wanted but it was still good hah.

I’m used to Bolis having a build up in strength from start as they start mild but end up face smashing my mouth. The flavors I expect are leather, tea, and cedar. With the turbo, the tannin tea flavors dominated my palate from first puff to nub.

Very nice and surprisingly smooth. I had to work at the same time so this Cigar was great as it burned evenly and had a generous amount of smoke production. Very well constructed so makes a great cigar when working on a laptop hah.

Spice spice spice--and the toro is mild compared to the smaller guage vitolas.
