Never seen or heard of them. The reddish brown wrapper caught my eye. For $10, it was ok. Had a tight draw, but ok flavors. If the draw would have been better, it would have been a lot better.

I just smoked a Por Larranaga Petit Corona. I call 'em Fer Larrys. My favorite short smoke.
Ya know "petit" is a French word, sounds kinda boutique-y. Should be "poco" or "corto".

I thought it was very nice. It's got about two years of aging and has gotten a bit of sweet cream on top of it normal Cuba Aliados flavors. This one has a Connecticut shade wrapper.

It is. (Thanks, by the way) I'm about halfway through it now; still unsure how I feel about it. It's a good bit "different" than my usual sticks. Right after the light it was a bit harsh, and slowly mellowed out to where I am now with it. It's actually very smooth now. Upfront flavor is mainly grass, with secondary being cedar and leather. The thing puts out smoke like no other too. IMO it's a good occasional stick, but YMMV.

Tatuaje Brown Label Regio 5.5 X 50 and an Avo XO Churchill.

Fantastic! Choice, rich, earthy Nicaraguan tobacco! This is the premium tobacco that with the Padrons curing/aging methods could have become stellar. As it was it very enjoyable, to me lacking complexity but with a lush taste that never stopped short of excellence. Though I didn't taste these overtones I'm betting that a more experienced smoker would be telling you about its cocoa, dark chocolate taste overtones.

It reminded me a lot of the Montecristo New York that I had over Thanksgiving though not as smooth and aged. But it was $10.00 and the New York was $14.00.

The Avo XO was entirely, and spectacularly, different, probably the most complex cigar I've ever had. I would say that nuts is the overtone, but these are very layered nuts in that I'd say that there were about five different nuts, if that makes any sense. It was out and out complex for about half of the cigar but then become a finely balanced, orchestrated, nutty taste in the second half. Unbelievable, as was JR's singles price, $14.00, which in order to be exposed to the cigar was absolutely fine, but I found a box where the price per was ~$7.50; ordered it!

Sure, I've had a few that didn't burn or draw well, but for a knock around smoke they're a-ok. Plus the fact you can score a box off of C-Bid for dirt cheap makes it even better.
