The top pic is my purchases at the B&M today. I really like the Patel Bros. Robusto and they have been discontinued, so I bought all they had. The second picture is freebies. The Patel Bros. was buy 3, get a RP Vintage 1990 or a Drew Estates Java free. And on the first friday of every month, you get a free stick when buying either a Cohiba or CAO. Their free cigar this month was a La Gloria Cubana Serie N.

Brooks is correct, these are not 2012's they are Gran Cojonu's. I did just check and the website that I go them from seems to be out.

Just someone getting out of the cigar game ;) ... well refining my collection/tastes anyway lol. I consider myself lucky to have found my desert island cigars early on in the game and happily none of them break the bank, 601's are my friends the blues & the greens!! What remains of my "Rare collection" ill most likely sell off over time because I just don't enjoy them, i'm going to say 99% of them were impulse buys based on hype alone...

I suggest that both of you guys try Cohiba Pequeno's they're awesome! Great flavor in a short smoke format! only regular blend (Dominican) Cohiba that I like!

I smoked one when they first came in and yes, I think you're right about them being wet. I can't count how many times I had to relight the thing. Still a great stick, but they need to reeeeest.

As much as I dislike many of the discontinuations and consider some of them short-sighted, I usually can find a perspective from which I can understand the decision, if not appreciate it. The Robusto Ts, on the other hand, are so recent, have experienced such a warm critical reception and, as far as I can see, seemed to be selling at least reasonably well. Maybe they can't sustain the blend for whatever reason or my impression of their sales success is just wildly off, but I don't get it at all. :2

To my mind, if they wanted stronger results from this vitola, a better approach might been a 'Have you overlooked this gem?' ad campaign, rather than just killing them. It's a head-scratcher for me.

Don't know yet....the box I opened seemed like the sticks were quite wet, so I may open them all and crack the tubos (no need to take the lid totally off, the air will get in there just fine)...They are still sitting on my desk, since I have nowhere to put all of them at the moment lol!

I smoked one when they first came in and yes, I think you're right about them being wet. I can't count how many times I had to relight the thing. Still a great stick, but they need to reeeeest.

There is an illusione MK in there, the only shop on island I found with illusiones had a somewhat questionable humidor so I only bought that one. I'll let you know if I like the Gurkha, hopefully it's a tad bit better than the Gurkha I had yesterday.

The Cellar Reserves are alright, they kinda remind me of a Perdomo Lot 23 Maddie. Worth the try when I had one, but not something I would buy again. :2

Graycliff's are good but not near worth what they want for them. But like Shane said, watch for them on cbid, you can get them relatively cheap. For my money, there are MUCH better smokes out there.
