I'm having a DFH Indian Brown Ale right now and it's as close to a perfect beer as I have had in decades. Now I don't DRINK
a lot of beer anyway, and certainly not anything but Bud Light in the last 20 years, but this year I have begun trying to
see what all the fuss is about concerning the brews in this thread. I have had several good ones. But this beer is fantastic.
Loaded with cinammon, chocolate, raisins, citrus, the list goes on and on. It DOES remind me of a beer I drank a lot
back in the service or in Germany, but I can't remember any of that time in my life. Really good beer this one.

I liked the Arrogant Bastard you recomended, but it was not as good as it was strong

Eh I clear out bottles before I buy new ones. I never have more than 2-3 bottles on hand. I clear them out too fast. The Weller is taking me a bit to finish, it's pretty hot for a 107 proof. It's the heat that is getting me not the ABV.

Fresh mint from my garden, break off about 8 leaves in bottom of glass.
Lime juice - add to bottom of glass.
simple syrup - 1 cup brown sugar, 2 cups water and boil. add this to bottom of glass.

take wooden spoon and smash up the mixture in bottom of glass to break up the mint.

Add crushed ice filling the glass.
Add dark rum
Add club soda

mix

top off with a slice of lime and mint leaves.

Empty glass into mouth :noon

I like mine with brown sugar and dark rum.

Sorry no measurements but I make them by taste and never really measured out.

It's funny, even though Russian River brewery is local, Pliny is actually hard to get a hold of where I live because it's so popular that whenever any of the stores here get any, it sells out in a few days, then we have to wait months for them to brew more. I haven't been able to get my hands on any for close to 6 months now. I saw the bottles and went :dr:dr:dr

I was looking up milk frothers online and came across an article that recommended using a french press if you have one as it is the same thing basically. You just warm up the milk in the microwave, pour it in the french press, and pound the living daylights out of it for a few seconds lol. Spectacular results!
