Good to know. I may just need to spread the beads out like you have done. It is a very nice looking humidor that I have enjoyed having. It is also too small, as everyone here will tell you I'm sure. nope there is a gap but its purpose is to hide my cooler so I can keep it in the living room and my mom wont complain. It keeps the tamps down int he cooler too. I suppose I could seal it if I really tried but its just easier to put a cooler in it.

The fed ex driver came to the door and said " your water heater is here and I was like WTF, you mean humidor? He looks at the paper and says " A humidor that big are you opening a store ?" The driver was cool He wanted to see it so bad he waited while I unpacked it and helped along with my two friends carry all 350 pounds of it inside. I tipped him and offered him a cigar which he happily excepted. He also took Bob's # and the Cigar Asylum web addy to pass to his friend that smokes cigars.

I'll be working like nuts Fri-Mon but on Tues I'm going to load it up. It's been running at 63-65 RH steadily since about 6 Hrs after I set it up. Once I load up my sticks I plan to set it closer to 61%.

If you are looking for an Aristocrat Bob is more than willing to have his brained picked don't hesitate to call him. he has a way of making the whole deal almost to easy.

Their is also a Aristocrat Mini & a Cuban Footlocker tucked away with a few other "goodies".

I figure it this way, I'm an old fart who's family is grown so it's what ever I want now...well within reason. Use to be a handful of cigars on hand and that was on a good day.
