I never got the chance to try the LFD "Icepick" Cheroot (made for Empire Cigars in NC). Heard they were a very strong stick...right up my alley. So when I heard LFD was doing another version for Michael’s Tobacco of Euless, Texas I knew I had to grab some. But I knew it was gonna be tough, as they only made 50 boxes. I was lucky enough to score one.


I swear I sent you one or two one of the times I slapped you around. :hm May have to get a box ready for when I get back to Raleigh.

If you want a flavor bomb that'll stick with you for 3 days (if it doesn't kill you), try the El Original Toro Maduro from Island Smoke Shop in Key Largo.
They are my all-time favorite flavor bomb, so thick and delicious you can hardly believe your luck. I've gone through box after box after box over the years and they remain consistent and wonderful.
They're very strong and full, but not so nicotine-laden that they'll make you chunk, so long as you have a good constitution. They are best a little on the wet side and with about 8 months on them, depending when they were minted. You'll be able to tell when you smell them. You want to let them sit for a couple months after all the ammonia is gone.
Be warned, you will be hooked. There is not a more maduro-flavored maduro out there.

Todd, to be honest, for about three years I wouldn't touch them because they were way to pricey for my cigar budget. Then I tried a couple and I loved them. Remo hit the nail right on the head with the Kill Bill, but the Kill Bill II is fantastic!!! The Goldies are HTF, but very creamy and smooth. But my favorite is the Maduro Toro...top ten stick for me. :dr :dr :dr

Didn't make a New Year's resolution, but decided other things were more important after I paid my taxes last year. So, I picked up some pipe tobacco, grabbed a couple singles or 5-ers from B&Ms when I'd sit to smoke in their lounge, but no box purchases.

There are a bunch of things out there that are appealing. Mac's LaPalinos were appealing, but even if I wanted to, the price on those bad boys in seriously prohibitive.

It is amazing how far what you have in your humidor can go - especially if you only smoke a couple sticks a week.

Overall, I've liked each Mac I've smoked but haven't had one of these as they are to give away. I don't smoke cigars in the house and it's been too cold for the last week to sit out and smoke so I haven't had the CAO either. ;s
