I wasn't a big fan of the TNT blend and that's what the C-4 is. Maybe this stick just isn't for me. :2

Skull & Bones!!! Excellent Pick To Start Off The Weekend, Peter!:tu

Such a great decision, if I do say so myself.
A year has made a huge difference in these... For the better. The extreme pepper is way more subtle now. The flavors are simply outstanding. This could be my favorite NC:

http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t228/pektel/634cb947.jpg

If I had to pick this mystery flavor that I'm tasting, I would have to say... Almost like a cinnamon candy dipped in chocolate.

Had a great day yesterday, Luke drove up from Houston, and we smoked some interesting cigars...

First Cigar of the day was a Partagas Dunhill Seleccion Suprema No. 281 From the late 1950s...small stick w/ about a 28 RG...as far as we know, Luke has the only box known to exist...

http://www.BrooksWhittington.net/cigars/qrhqhqrh.JPG

and here is a photo of the box (which was full, two sides of 50 of these inside):

http://www.BrooksWhittington.net/cigars/sadadagb.JPG

2nd Cigar was a "Lords of England" stick from the 1920's...

http://www.BrooksWhittington.net/cigars/ahrhjjj4j.JPG

3rd Cigar of the day was a Davidoff 5000 from the late 1980s...

http://www.BrooksWhittington.net/cigars/ay4yhn.JPG

Last cigar of the day was a Montecristo Gran Reserva...

http://www.BrooksWhittington.net/cigars/sadgag.JPG

Pretty good day!

First cigar of the weekly Herf was a AB Family Blend. The draw was a little tight but the first two thirds were great. I set it down about half way through the last third.

Tonight it's the LFD Cameroon Cabinet No 1
I am really enjoying it and I find it's best smoked slow which isnt my normal pace. But slow puffing really let's the Cameroon deliver a nutty flavor and brings out the peat in the Old Porteney 12 year Scotch I'm drinking.

Those are a good smoke, but the scent of the wrapper is the most misleading thing ever. I was expecting a big ol spice bomb when I smoked mine after gettin a whiff of the wrapper, was a pleasant yet unexpected surprise. Quite a bit overpriced IMO, but most milder cigars I find not worth the price.

I had my first Casa Fuente in the robusto size. Excellent, although definitely pricier that I normally smoke. I went to the Fuente event at Holts in Philly a couple of weeks ago, and when I saw Case Fuente were available, I had to pick up at least one.

I also smoked a Tatuaje Verocru #9, which I also picked up at Holts. Another great Tatuaje.

I don't live in Philly, but travel to a project in Trenton and drive close to their north Philly shop on the way to or from the airport. I think discovering Holts is going to be hard on the wallet.
