Smoking a CAO Brazilia torp right now that's been sitting in my humidor for at least 3 months... perhaps longer. By the Emperor, this thing is HEAVENLY. Possibly one of the best cigars I've had to dat, and I've been trying everything I can since I started this wonderful pastime. I'll have to get me some more of these... :ss

Brazilia is one of my favorite sticks too.

This was my first, but it won't be my last by far.

On a side note, the stick was perfect, up until about an inch and a half left, when the wrapper split all the way up to the cap... that was when I knew I was getting deported from Brazilia, and it was time to get back to reality.

I'd keep searching. Great deals can be had on Gurkhas all over the place. I'd recommend not pressing your luck with Thompson as well. There have been plenty of customer service and order issues of the years. Mine personally has stopped me from ordering from them anymore. :2

Main issue I had with Thompson is after I ordered they absolutely bombarded me with telephone calls wanting me to buy more stuff.

I finally told them to stop calling me or I would never order from them again.

Only thing I get now are my Iguana's

Which I am currently enjoying!

Just put down a CAO Vision and was only half way through it. This is my 2nd try at these and it is not any better. For all the hype, it is just a mediocre smoke at best, though it burns nicely (need something positive). I took advantage of the beautiful day today (before the snow comes) to take the long way to work while smoking a Graycliff G2 robusto. You know that noise Homer Simpson makes when he drools? I made that noise a LOT while smoking this beauty. I wish it hadn't ended, but fortunately I also got a couple of G2 churchills in the bundle I bought, so next time I won't have the same problem.

Any Monday where you get to start your day with a great cigar is almost as good as a Friday in my book.

I have to say it started out a little harsh and there were a couple of burn issues along the way, but it cam into it's own an inch or so into it and did have that great Opus-only taste.

Still, not as good as the xXx:D

I got a package at work 1 of 2 I have been expecting and I pulled out a Ghurka Empire V out of it right from the package, poured my coffee mug with a cup of milk and left to do my running around and errands. I never drank milk with a cigar and I wasn't sure if it was keeping me from tasting its full flavor but wow it was mild and yummy, had a bite but a good bite, about halfway I was out of milk and the cigar tasted good a familiar bite but I could not recognize the natural taste.I then got home after tasting lots of flavor with my mind racing on what flavor poured myself a glass of water took a sip and just relaxed and let the flavors not the mind tell me what it is that helped me enjoy this treat so much. I mean it tasted just pure and natural if this is considered a natural unsweetened mild cigar then I like it and need to venture more in my why how which of cigars I like to smoke I really enjoy this path I am now on a mission of trying all sorts to get that corey blend my issue is I have a wide range of likes sometimes different taste wants etc. Some days sweetened taste good when other days i want natural. But I do have to say I need to venture more in the ghurka and similarities its kind of like a few of the cubans of the 10 Rev<todd> Bombed me with when i went to his house with a pipe tobaccy bomb of my own . some i liked some just were to much or didn't care for. I really am intrigued to study cigars more intensely than just learning about, and smoke them cause its a new world but now a study of enjoyment to better learn more about me . I am now gonna discipline myself more to keep a record for this is enjoyment past what I found with pipes.not to say I still don't enjoy a good bowl/blend here an there.

It was one of those cigars that was smooth an mild in beginning with a familiar bitethen 45 min later 2 glasses of water later it was making my eyes water. I really liked the smell during and after and had to try the stand it up on the ash trick and it worked. In fact I am still sniffing my fingers.
