SLR Toro Tasted very good, but had alot of burn issues. Had a soft spot/hollow area 2/3 of the length causing an erratic burn. It also went out for no apparent reason.

I was thinking the same thing before I lit the Ruination up, turns out, it is just as nice, not as sweet tasting though. It was a great choice to help me relax, I need to buy both of these MOW lines by the crates, I love them. Lots of ligero in the Ruination.

Daniel Marshall Vintage Black Label.
I got 5 of these included with my new humidor. I was going to quit it before I got through the first third as I found it a bit mild for my preference. I'm sort of glad that I stuck with it though. It got a bit spicy towards the middle but it never really got complex. Good, even burn with ash that stayed firm and might have grown to near two inches had I not decided to tap it off rather than risk my shirt. Although the draw was tight in the beginning, by the end I would call it a good smoke for what it was.
I really just felt like having a cigar today, and so I did.

Cusano Habano LXI Sun Grown Robusto. Very tasty smoke. I enjoyed this med bodied stogie. The only drawback is, the darn band is So Huge it stretches down to the middle of the cigar. Upon removing (carefully) the wrapper incurred significant damage. This damage led to splitting down the entire final 3rd making it a bit of a PITA.

I wondered about the strength of the newer LGD's as well. Much milder than the batch from a couple of years ago. Taste is very similar but the nic kick of the ligero just didnt seem to be there any more. :2

Old Henry Maduro, meh.

I enjoy an aged regular Old Henry, but this maduro was kind of bland. Started off a bit harsh, but mellowed after the first inch. Just not a whole lot of the flavors I seem to like now, not likely I will revisit this one soon. :2
