Just finished enjoying a La Herencia Cubana Oscuro Fuerte Toro.
Very good smoke! Smoke was plentiful but not so thick as to overwhelm. Excellent flavor and solid construction. Bit of wavering burn but not bad... nothing out of hand. I definitely enjoyed this one.

I says it's close to the 5 Vegas AAA & the Diesel Unholy Cocktail...all three are AJ Fernandez blends. :2

Those are similar... Not quite the same... but pretty similar. I think the smoke is a bit smoother than those. Both of those feel a little thicker than the LHC. I wouldn't use the term harsh... that's not quite right, but they aren't quite as well... smooth as the LHC. The flavors are similar but the LHC has more of the baking spice flavor with a bit less of the sweet cocoa... kind of a dry cocoa. It's not as predominant. Also a bit more floral strength in it.
Think the Diesel UC and AAA with slight changes to the strength of certain flavors and smoother smoke.
Sorry... I'm not very good at reviewing or putting these tastes and textures into writing.

La Aurora 107 Robusto.
Pretty tasty stick. More flavorful than the "regular" La Auroras.
I got about 2/3 into it and a pesky wasp was flying in my area.. so i got the wasp spray, sprayed the wasp............ and my La Aurora. So I didn't get to finish it.

Had a CAO Criollo rubusto and it hit the swet tooth spot. If you like sweet and hints of citrus then you'll love this one! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's definitely a medium / medium stick - which is out of character for me. It felt "light" almost airy... But sweet and citrusy. Not a constant annoying sweet... But a hint that just tempts the palate for more. I would call this stick "refreshing." it was well complimented by my Jefferson Reserve Bourbon Barrel Stout beer.
I later smoke a Padilla 1932 torpedo. It has been a while since I smoked a 1932 torpedo (usually get rubustos) and I was disappointed until the very middle of the second third. I don't recall the start to this stick being so "blah" and thin smoked... Perhaps it is a dud or the shape interfering with the smoke. Either way it wasn't doing well until the middle of the second third. That's when the flavor started rolling. Unfortunately I had to toss it as we were leaving the park to head home. Thankfully I have more torpedos at home and I'll try another in a few days to see if this one today was a dud.

Pretty darn good smoke to end the day. Sat under my carport and watched the lightning show of a summer storm that passed through. Wanted a short smoke and this one did the trick. About 45mins of goodness. Learned to smoke smaller RG slower to avoid bitterness and heat.

Today, I had three, cause it's the weekend. My first cigar of the day was an Anejo No. 46 at Neptune's B&M. If any of you guys are around in Miami and are done visiting Little Havana's factories, I suggest you drop by here, it's definitely a nice lounge. The second cigar of the day was a Padron 1964 Principe Maduro in my porch. My last cigar of the day was a Padilla Miami Robusto.

not as much as you'd think. i'll post up a review later.
BIG time pepper kick to start. thought it was going to live up to its name. almost killed me, literally. but that disappeared to a nice nutty/coffee profile. full flavored, but not ass kickingly strong
not as complex as the DES or robusto, but very enjoyable.

Started off the day with an Illusione 888. Had a real kick of peppery spice at the beginning and then really mellowed out. Had a couple of burn issues... and it did tunnel a bit - which I corrected. It also had a hard spot that affected the draw about midway through. A gentle bit of pressure around it just under the cherry fixed it.
It was an enjoyable smoke... but a bit too mellow at times. I could not place my finger on most of the flavors. I'll have to get more to try later.

Very good smoke with hints of chocolate/cocoa... real nice way to end the day.
Capped off the evening with a JdN Classico Churchill. Partnered up with a Long Island Ice Tea. Always a good smoke! And always a good drink.
...Oddly, I've really been enjoying the smaller ring gauge lately -50 and under. Normally I'm more of a Toro kind of guy... But the last week or so, I seem to be leaning more towards the thinner and longer sticks.

AF Don Carlos Robusto - nice smoke but very uneven burn.
Had a Trinidad - really tight draw. Good flavor... but was at work and didn't get to completely finish :(.
Also had:
Montecristo Desde 1935 Anni. Smooth flavor but super tight draw until the final 1/3. Had a couple of burn issues which were easily corrected.
Hoyo de Monterey Oscuro Maduro rothschild - SUPER loose draw! It opened up with some serious sweet spice -- I'd say baker's spice - but mellowed a bit. Had a ton of burn issues with this stick. It tunneled, was completely uneven, and at times seemed to start canooing. Once it got to the final 2" it burned really fast. It was tasty when it wasn't burning all weird. The sweet spice appeared and disappeared throughout and was very nice. There was also a taste of fresh nuts. Not roasted... but like actual nuts. Which is something new for me. It was a yummy stick. I'll let the others sit a bit and see if that cures it up some.

601 Black Robusto on the ride into work. Man, I really enjoyed this stick! :)
Last night, I had a Partagas Cifuentes (either '04 Septiembre or '06 Diciembre -- impossible to tell they are identical in every way). Draw was initially a bit tight but self corrected. Some wonderful bursts of flavor in there. I think this stick will be a fantastic smoke once it has rested in the humi for a month or so.
Also had Sol Cubano Select Cabinet - this one had all kinds of spice. Not just pepper but actual different spices. Hard to put my finger on all them. Also had several burst of fresh cedar. Tar build up was a bit of an issue - I had to purge several times to keep it from getting acrid. Had it not been for the tar this would have been a most excellent smoke. Good thing I have several more to test out... hopefully it was just that stick.

Early this PM, a Bolivar Cofradia 554 EMS, but after about 1", I had to lay it down to die. It just wasn't making it for me, which is kinda of sad because I'd been smoking the Cuban Corona' in early 2000 which were a nice and enjoyable hefty smoke. Guess I'll revisit this size later in the year and give them another shot at that time. So...
I fired-up a My Father Le Bijou 1922 which really rocked my socks. This is a very nice little smoke:tu

Last night I had perhaps the best cigar of my life. Drew Estate Liga Privada No. 9. The flavors were perfectly balanced, refined, and complex. I tasted everything from leathery spice to chocolaty silky smoothness. If you haven't tried it yet give it a shot.:dr

This evening before supper re-visited a Maria Mancini robusto larga from 1999.
I don't remember what they tasted like fresh, but it was still a pretty good smoke. Started off with a nice sweetness in the flavor and picked up a nice peppery bite to it further in.
These would have probably been gone a long time ago if it didn't take so long to smoke one. Had to toss it for dinner at probably 1.5 hrs in and there was still almost 2" left.

Yesterday I had a Diesel UC at work - a staple in my cigar diet. Then capped the night off with an Ashton Aged Maduro paired with my bourbon barrel stout. The Ashton wasn't impressive at all for the price, I've had better budget sticks... So I was dissapointed. However, the BBC bourbon barrel stout was good to the last drop like always!
I kicked off my morning with a Famous Nic 3k epicure while riding to work and finished it off on the benches outside with a morning coffee.
