On arrival, a Tatuaje J21 Reserva. Beautiful stuff. The burn was a little off but otherwise the flavours were good.

Enjoying my first La Traviata Robusto. So far, so good. Ironically, just read the latest Cigar Aficionado and they rated this cigar a 93. Will see how it goes. So far, a really good looking, well constructed cigar. Pre draw was excellent and burn is quite good right now. Hints of leather and tea in the initial draws.

Good start to my vacation.

Yeah, they're a decent smoke. I find the '90 just suits my palate a bit more. So far the only stick I like better from RP's regular line (and I haven't smoked them all) is the OWR, especially in maddie.

La Traviata. This cigar flat out sucks. I had one when they first came out and it was harsh. I smoked one today and it wasn't as harsh, but still sucked. I will never buy another one :(

Had a Maroma Fuerte and a 5 Vegas Cask Stregth II yesterday

Yesterday I smoked a 5 vegas Miami torp and 1/3 of an Illusione ~23~. The Miami was great, and I haven't had one in a long time. The culebra, not so much. Nice flavors but extremely tight draw and hard to keep lit. The other 2/3 of it are getting dryboxed for a while before I attempt to smoke them!

I enjoyed two Cain's yesterday. The first was the Cain Habano 550 (5.75x50). It has the Habano wrapper. I had it with a cup of 100% Colombian.
Yesterday afternoon I had the Cain Maduro 660 (6x60) which has the same ligero blend as the Habano just a different wrapper. I smoked it while at a beer festival and it went well with all the brews I sampled while walking around smoking it. (I spent most of my time sampling dark beer/ales).

I actually enjoyed the maduro more than the habano and the only difference was the size and wrapper. The maduro seemed to be a bit smoother yet still a well balanced smooth smoke.

Yesterday I only smoked a Petite Tatuaje and one of the cigars from my Miami Cigar & Company 10-pack...

The Miami Cigar was not bad at all. Not the most complex stick I've ever smoked but a solid petit robusto that would probably get quite a bit better with a few months rest. :tu

Perdomo lot 23 while burning some brush in the rain. Really enjoyable, mostly because I could stand outside in a sweatshirt and not freeze.

I smoked a Tabacos Baez today, along with an Illusione CG4. Both good, second was better.
