Happened in my younger years. Putting in a ton "low ball" of bids on stuff I wanted to try when they came up on the bidding docket, forgot about them, and low and behold I won 11 of 15 (if I remember correctly). It was a happy day for me, a sad day for my credit card.

Now I don't even log into C-Bid. My B&M has better prices on NC's than C-bid and I buy mostly Cuban's now.
