Depends on your receiver. Does it have HDMI or will you be using analog audio connections? The reason I ask is because the 35 doesn't have analog audio out so you are limited to HDMI to get the advanced audio. The 55 has 7.1 analog audio out.

the reciever I showed you yesterday

Pio Elite. has the 7.1 analog IIRC
only problem is I never hooked up the rear center channels. not really sure how I want to do it. THX or no.

If the receiver has HDMI I don't see any reason to spend the extra and get the 55.
