"Heck that’ll buff out…A hundred years from now he won’t even remember he did it." My sentiments exactly.  I bet it hurt like a mother. I sawed the pads off three of my fingers a couple years ago and it hurt worse than when I broke my back. There's a lot of nerves in there.  I should add... "Kids, don't try this at home."
