When I was a tanker I carried a .45, so I already
knew what this poor bastard just found out first hand....there goes the marathon training, ouch:

My sentiments exactly. :D
I bet it hurt like a mother. I sawed the pads off three of my fingers a couple years ago and it hurt worse than when I broke my back. There's a lot of nerves in there. :)

I taught my daughter that years before I taught her how to shoot. When we're at the range, it's gone to "You better hope that thing is chocolate."
She smiles and quits mindlessly pointing it at my head. I hope I survive teaching the kid. :D

I had a friend who shot himself in the leg with a .45. While he was laid up in bed he actually carved a cane out of a tree branch that he used to walk with after he could start moving around again.
