Default Re: Porcelain ashtrays

I left mine outside before Christmas and when the wife was putting up Christmas lights she hit it and broke it into a bunch of little pieces. She didn't tell me until a month later. Not happy.

That's what I'm afraid of... guess I'll stick glass or plastic. Now to search garage sales!

For outdoors, this what I use....

All in all, I was out $10.00...its three empty Dr. Pepper cans, two-sided tape, a bucket, and a little bit of ingenuity...plus, it means I have a place to dump my indoor ashtrays at the end of the night....

Where I live was never affected by a Mason-Dixon line...I made it out of spite towards Stinky Ashtrays...I too can take cheap cheap materials and put together an ashtray...however...my "fingers" are spring loaded...they are strong enough to not dump the cigar, yet weak enough too not fall off...it took a little bit of work...You are getting one now Bob....

That's pretty cool! I might rig something up myself. And yes, Bob, I live south of the Mason Dixon!

I am stealing this idea, but with a Heineken bucket, and Coke cans.
