I don't see why not.... But I wouldn't leave it sitting in the rain, as the unfinished portions of it are porous and can be affected. My buddy leaves his outside all year, but when he is done with it, he sets it under the cover of his patio.

Yeah I was just thinking they might be prone to cracking when it freezes. It would be fairly protected. The glass ashtray I have now is very thick, heavy glass and has survived fine. It just was not made for cigars and is hard to balance a stogie on the edge.

I leave mine outside, but I do notice that the ones I leave outside age faster than the ones I leave indoors. The ashtrays that constantly sit in the sun start to get fine cracks in the finish.
It does not stop me from doing it...
