Believe it or not this was first concepted by Gene Argenese. While I'm not a big argenese guy, the idea is a good one.

You are getting 20 cigars. However, the way it's bundled is as 10 cigars. These reason this is done is because SCHIP taxes you PER cigar. At 40 cents per cigar, this saves you $4.00 per box.

Exactly - I used to work with an Italian and he mentioned that there are cigars in Italy that you cut in the middle and share with someone. This is the first thing I thought about when I saw these in the catalog.

Gene's ideas are only good in his own mind with his crappy cigars and stupid "club".
