Oxy-acetylene shop torch.
I was cutting some 1/4" thick plate steel for a patch to weld onto something, and I stopped working for a smoke. Couldn't find my lighter so I just cranked the tanks open and struck the torch up again and lit up. In all fairness, I didn't even get the torch CLOSE to the cigar; one puff and I burned nearly an eighth of an inch off the cigar and called it good at that. Talk about a way to smoke one fast and hot.

I didn't have any source of flame once while deployed. I was outta butane for my lighter so I used a bovie. It's a medical cautery used for cauterizing veins and arteries during surgery or to cut escharotomy lines. Google if you don't know what that is, as it is a grim treatment for burns. I'm not gonna get into details, but if you have a mobid curiosity. look it up. HEHEHE
