My favorite of all time is Luciano's it's about 30 minutes outside of pittsburgh. (used to work there as a kid). Here in NC there's not much but micahelangelo's in Jacksonville is decent. When I was at Ft. Devens there was alittle shop right off base that had excellent calamari!! don't know about the pizza though.

Colorado Springs, CO - Roman Villa on Nevada ~ pepperoni and jalapeño
Colorado Springs, CO - Fargo's on Platte ~ Sophia Special Denver (go to Idaho Springs if you can) - Beau Jo's ~ order your favorite Drove around the upper mid-west since the early 2000s and never really found anything comparable. Bar pizzas, mostly, darn-it! Had a great one in Chicago, but can't remember the name. Ummmmmmm Pizza ![]() |

I really like Nancy's Pizza, a few stores in the Chicagoland area.
Love the stuffed style pizzas.

Palermo's in (east) Hollywood, CA. Owned by an immigrant Sicilian family, 30 years in business and I've been a customer for 29 of those years, has grown from 6 tables to 30 with a full bar, always a wait for a table. Ask for Tony--what a stereotypical Italian name, but I suppose he could have been named (super) Mario.
