Our friend Ratters calls that the "taste of oppression" Although Cabiguan and some of Pepin's blends have hints, they are only posers.

I agree that the Cabaiguan is a good smoke with hints. I also think the smaller "La Riqueza" has some similar tastes. But as these esteemed aficionados have shared... prefer them or not, nothing tastes quite like a cuban. My

The word "Cuban" never once crossed my mind when I blind-test smoked that unbanded Cabiguan from the pass basket at the last Barn herf.

Bland, boring and grassy did though.
