I always take extras.
On one cruise, made friends with the comedian that was main event and we ended up having a blast in the cigar lounge at 2 a.m., smoking away so I shared a smoke with him.
On another, met an 85 yr. old Cuban enjoying cigars in his wheelchair. I shared some with him.
I have also run into Head Waiters, who love CC's and have traded CC's for bottles of wine. In fact, on one cruise, 4 CC's got me three bottles of wine, one per night for three nights.
So......always take more as you just never know if you will need them.

Bingo!
Great advice here. Every cruise I take I always bring more than I know I will smoke as I usually meet people on there and will share with them. Have met some really amazing people on cruises and talk with them for hours and have learned quite a bit about them and their lives. Cigars are great for bartering as was said here,,,I took care of my cabin steward and he ended up letting us use his discount to buy things on the boat which added up to some very significant savings by up to 30%. He bought the items and we paid him back as he showed his the receipt and the savings.

My wife bought a tupperware container that fit the churchills very well. I used that in connection with my 8 ct. otter box. It was so humid down there that the churchills in the tupperware didn't even need humidification. Wasn't there long enough to mold...and was plenty humid enough.
