If you smoked in your room, I'm sure the stewards would know as soon as they go in your room and they are in there 1-2 times a day.

But since cigars are banned and barely no one does it or get caught anyway, would they even know what a cigar smells like? unless they actually see it right..? what proof could they have? unless they are some how cigar smokers who just "knows"..
