Morning Mac,
I have been reading the responses over the past couple days and would like to tell you, you are not alone - I saw on CNN this morning that there is now a website www.boycottscotland .com that is promoting a general boycott of goods and services (including tourism). I have to agree with MCS and the Admiral and the best course of action is to keep our perspective on this issue and humor is a pretty good way to do just that. Having said that, I suggest we have gotten so PC over the past years that this type of thing happens - I doubt this would have happened during my grandfather's generation. We forget sometimes that ours is a country at war. |
