Well, that was quite quick and extremely easy, even for a dummy like me.
I do notice significant difference. Boy my mighty mouse now moves fast.  Just kidding.

I went from the Activity Monitor showing less than 1/4 of memory as free space to now having nearly 3/4 of it as free space.
Amazing.
