It seems wierd, I wouldn't mind trying one. I would not want to carry it around in my pocket though.

I don't know how a few slits in the head of the cigar will work like a cut or punch. I guess It's something I'll have to see first hand, but I'm happy with my Palio and I don't see me switching anytime soon. I did see that CI is selling these now. Noticed it comes free with purchases of $99 or more.

That's the way one came to me. I tried not to like it, but I do. I tend to chew on my cigars and when a sloppy cut is made there have been some sticks that start to un-wrap. Surprisingly, the draw is good, too. here is the cut after halh way point of a smoke.

Having used the Fidello on at least 20 sticks, mostly my favorite full strength Robustos with a Gordo or 2 in the mix, I like the way it cuts. I cut a couple of sticks in advance if going out because I don't want to carry the lump in my pocket.
Have found that not pushing the cigar all the way in works better for me. I look at the cap of whatever stick needs to be cut, and then push the stick in the Fidello a skosh more that what I think the cap depth is. In other words, I use the S.W.A.G. method of cutting.

Honestly, between this and the Shuriken, I would rather use a kitchen knife.
However, a Palió remains my top choice for a cutter. Proper cutting is a learned skill, and I would imagine this product won't last long (Cigar Spike, anyone?)

The picture of that cap looks a little wierd to me -- almost like it's been lacquered or varnished.
In any case, if the cutter works for you, that's great for you! For me personally, I don't think that this kind of cutter would work very well. I use both guillotine cutters and punches (Xikar, Palio, etc.) and they both work very well for me. Quote:
