Iconic great guitarist has left us. Terrible news to me and his other fans.

I am an axeman. I look on players like Joe Satriani as someone who knows music theory inside and out and practices to perfection. Steve Morris is another one.
But Jeff Beck was a different breed. He knew every sound his guitar could make. He could imagine beautiful sounds he could make with it. And he could just play anything he could imagine. A guitar player's guitar player. People will study his style for a long time from now.

Listening to Beck Bogert & Appice Live (1973) recorded over 2 nights in Japan. I'm sad i never got to see him play live.
