I wonder why outfits want to use those sucko mexican maduro wrappers?
I was bummed when Oliva went with them on the yearly V maduro's.
I know Padron uses the mexi-maduro on PAMS, but it's the best of the best, grown and fermented under their thumb to perfection. Like everything they do.

I think would have made more sense to blind the tasters as to what they are. FOH have sent out blind samplers with numbers on them. Fun - hard to guess what the heck they are!

I agree with you 100%, Neil.
Just 2 of each cigars to each participant. Then, based on the strength of those blind sticks, pick 8 more of whatever you want.
Or just straight blind and online vote. So many options.

It's still a fun thing they're doing, no matter how it goes.
