Light: Blast of spice and Cedar. Lots of Tobacco Taste
1st Third: Cedar and the sweet tang of sungrown wrapper 2nd third: The sweetness becomes more pronounced and the tobacco taste fades slightly. The Cedar flavor starts to predominate. 3rd third: This really isint changing much, La Aroma's really are a rather good, if one dimentional smoke. I cant really tell the difference between the "Pepin" La Aroma de Cuba and the previous La Aroma. IMHO its the same blend as the original but with the Pepin Name so that they can charge 30-40% more for a box. Finish: The spice fades away and other before mentoned flavors start to mingle. The finish was smooth on the tougne. |

I bought two of these, so I will smoke the second tonight, with an eye towards reviewing the stick. This first review was just an inital impression.

Had an Aroma de Cuba corona minor last night, my first. I agree -- a tasty smoke, if a bit one dimensional. I've got some more resting and will revisit.
