We also have tickets to the Nats game on Saturday.

Quiet? I think every Cards fan is just holding their breath right now to see if we can make it to that one-game playoff with the Braves.

The club has a tough 6-game run to the end of the season. The Brewers and Dodgers aren't far behind. And, the players are pretty beat up.

If nothing else, the next few days ought to be exciting.

What's the magic number now? 1 or 2? I don't want to see the Reds face the Cards, but out of good sportsmanship I say good luck to you.

I guess it's 3. The Dodgers are 3 games back with 4 to play.

3 it is with the Nats and Reds to get through. Not sure who the Dodgers have left.

Another questionable call by MM in late innings that came back to bite the Cards. Pretty sure he was playing the percentages but walking a guy only to pitch to a guy who is hitting clutch as of late was not such a good idea.

Yep. But, at least, I understand why he did it. I'm not sure I understand why he felt the need to put in Mott in top of the 9th when we were down by a run. I think he should have stayed with Boggs and saved Mott in case we tied it. Or, at the very least, stayed with Boggs until he got into trouble and then made a double switch so he could have Mott the next inning in case we tied it. He burned up his options for no good reason.

Miller looked really good last night. Understand the pressure was not really on him but he was painting the corners and has a great Carpish slider.

Cards win! I don;t agree with the infield fly and if I was a Braves fan I would be pissed, but I'm not

We were on an airplane headed home during the game. Haven't seen the replay yet. Maybe he shouldn't have called the infield fly rule but he did and he can't change the call just because Kozma missed the ball. Btw, I'm not pissed either ....
