Did anyone catch the game last night? I saw some of it, one run in the 9th seemed like a pitching duel.

Didn't see it. But, the bottom line ... Carp was tough and Holliday is still on a roll.

Pitching was there for the good guys, but Toronto was helped out by us stranding 9 runners in scoring position.
I saw a headline that Said "Carp and Romero put on a pitching clinic", but I didn't think Romero was all of that. He allowed 8 hits and a walk, not bad, but watching the game he could have fared a lot worse if we didn't hit so many ground balls. I personally don't think he caused the grounders. It looked to me like we were a tick off at the plate. Maybe it was him throwing us off? who knows.

I can't wait for next week.... I'm gonna go watch the entire home stand wrapped up with watching the fireworks on the fourth at the riverfront from the stadium.

Wow! Who caught the game last night? Tony was right about the calls, get rid of that ump. And who would of thought we would have come away with a win? I'll take it

After losing 2 of 3 to KC, the Cards caught a break last night.

Going to the game tonight. Hope Wainwright is back to his old self.
