Brazilian Cherry Humidor

I had a good day in the shop today..... I sand her down and applied some stain on the baseboard.... my client wanted a little contrast, but with the same wood..... I will do the same on the lid....

I then measured out and cut the splines... I went with the big fat ones on this one.... as she's a big box and.... well, just happened to have some big fat chunks of ebony laying around....

Then.... I drilled the holes for the hinges....and cut off the "lid"... or at least cut off the piece that will be glued to the lid....

Won't be long and we can call her a humidor!
