Tycho Brahe had the better part of his nose cut off in a sword duel so he wore a metal prosthetic.

How do you avoid nose burn from a hot cigar ==> have a prosthetic metal nose.

Ya know, a metal nose would act as a heat sink and transfer the heat to the face. I think that a silicone nose "cosy" would work better.
