Now that's one thought that I can't say has ever crossed my mind.

But it does remind me of an old Roger Miller song.

I tend to think there's about a 30 -60 minute window to relight a cigar, and anything after that is questionable. Going fishing in the Stinky the next day, no way.

For me it's more five to fifteen window. If I blow through it and no smoke comes out, I'm not trying.
