what do you plan to use for air circulation?

I'd recommend a distributed approach with mesh bags (more surface area). I'd put at least a small amount in each drawer (but not each compartment of each drawer) just as a precaution.

The two big things you want to consider are:

Making the humidity consistent throughout. Otherwise your gauges are almost no use.
Have a buffer for humidity spikes. I am not sure if the spikes would start at the top or bottom of such a humidor. Perhaps someone else has an idea.

Contact Michael (cigarnut) about how he'd recommend using Shiala beads in your setup.
