Default Re: CAO Brazilia thoughts

I smoked one of these about 5 years ago during a long cigar drought on an empty stomach not knowing what I was getting myself into. I think I smoked about 20 minutes worth and wanted to throw up for a few hours. I won't touch another one.

I guess I'm in the minority here as well, but this one just didn't do it for me. I may have to try it again though. I was at the park with my son when I had it and I may have smoked it too fast.

I really enjoy the Samba, it is very tasty. Haven't smoked any other size. It is the wrapper that gets me.

This was pretty much my first experience with one too, back shortly after they first came out, and that Gol was one of the few cigars I was not able to finish. But a few months back I tried another, and that one was pretty tasty.

I don't know if the blend has changed, or if the extra age improved it, or if that first stick was a clunker, but one thing I know for sure . . . my palate has not gotten better.
